1. Hedo Feminista: A Warrior Path to Pleasure & Peace for the Planet
If one were to reduce this whole book to a sentence it might be the following. Hedo Feminista is an argument for defensive violence & sex-positive feminism to save the planet. It is a call for a Warrior Woman rather than a victimized one.
In our alternative look at sex, violence, free speech, and feminism, a Warrior Woman approach is a simple carrot and stick approach for men. This simple approach feels more empowering to women and is more understandable to men than the frustrations they often express about relating to women in the modern world.
Why is it that women should suffer so much at the hands of men? Is it their pre-ordained lot in life? The burden of their gender? Is it built into a woman's genetic code that she should be passive and receiving whilst men are thrusting and aggressive? Will women always have to bear the cross of suffering while Patriarchy whips them from behind?
Women around the world spend the majority of their lives feeling pressured, targeted, and tormented. In some cultures, female-targeted violence reaches graphic extremes. Why are women always the victims of aggression? Except in very few cases, women are very seldom the victimizers. They tend not to rape, abuse, or murder men. When it does happen it is often so noteworthy to make a story in the press.
Rather than being taught to defend themselves, from a young, impressionable age, girls are taught to wait for a man to come and save them. So many fairy tales and movies tell of a beautiful damsel who finds herself in distress, waiting for the impeccable timing of a Prince Charming to swoop in and save them. Young women are taught to regard themselves as fragile and delicate as opposed to celebrating female physical power.
Sex-Positive Feminism: Win/Win Gender Equality
In fighting for women's rights the feminist movement has made changes that have an effect on society as a whole. Unintended and unforeseen consequences resulted from the efforts of the women's rights movement. Most notably, many men see feminism as in opposition to masculinity. They see the movement treating women as victims to be protected. This perpetuates a disempowering victim mentality among women.
A woman who makes love out of desire, not duty is a woman who is not under the control of men. At present, there are very few places in the world where women have sexual equality. The countries of the West are still the most advanced in terms of women's rights and it shows in the sexuality of Western women who are free to enjoy themselves in ways that they choose. Unlike a Muslim woman, a Western woman does not face death if she chooses to be a porn star, stripper or simply to sleep with someone before marriage.
2. Intersecting Identity Play
This book is written in response to the current divisive racial and gender politics and its effects on free speech. We have developed a conversational tool called PRePP, personal responsibility and personal politeness, that allows people to communicate freely based on personal sensitivity rather than being offended on behalf of a group.
Free speech is under threat all over the world. This book is politically incorrect with criticisms and compliments handed out liberally to the various social and cultural identities that make up our world today. However, it is light hearted, and solution oriented.
